April is starting, even in the northern most regions of the US, to thaw all of us out from an especially hard winter.
Florida has the wonderful characteristic of having wonderful weather while the rest of the country is under snow or rain clouds all winter. It is no secret why so many people travel there between September and May despite hurricane season in the fall.
Turkey, Ham, Roasts, Lamb and dozens of deserts may have been part of your holiday meals 4 months ago, but that has passed, and summer is just around the corner. All of the weight you gained or redistributed during the holidays needs to be worked on. You would not be reading this if you were not interested.
Think about yourself for a minute. Use this next list. What can you vividly imagine about yourself and keep in mind regularly throughout the day? Your subconscious mind will start to change you as you do play these vivid images as a movie on a regular basis.
• How healthy do you want to be physically and mentally in 90 days?
• What do you want to do this summer that may not be able to do right now?
• Who is going to support you when you are working to improve your health?
• What BIG reason do you have, that only you may know, to motivate yourself?
• Do you need to change your diet?
• Do you need to change your activity level?
• Do you need to stop doing something that isn’t helping you have a healthy lifestyle?
• Are there changes to your work that will help you improve yourself?
There is so much information available, and especially in the United States, that anyone can learn how to improve themselves. Even with all of the knowledge available, it is very clear that if it is going to stick it has to come from you, and continue to be supported by you. No one else has as much interest to make the changes as you do.
There is no "Easy" button or magic wand that will provide you with the results in any area of your life without hard work. If you receive anything for free it does not carry with it the same sense of accomplishment as you receive when you put in a great deal of work and make improvements.
